Autumn ‘n apples

My Saturday was full of apples. It started with Apple Days in Greenville (Illinois) and ended with a trip to Eckert’s Farm in Belleville. At Eckert’s, my friends and I spent the evening frolicking amongst Jonathan and Golden Delicious apple trees. I came home with four lovely Jonathan apples with plans to make baked apples like my momma used to make with the fuji apples from the backyard.

That plate of apples is long gone and it was delicious!

My current project has been knit and frogged three times so far. I think I have it right this time:
